Description: The Eastern white pine (Pinus strobus) is a sizable pine species indigenous to the eastern region of North America, ranging from Newfoundland to Minnesota and southeastern Manitoba in the west, and extending southward along the Appalachian Mountains to the northern boundary of Georgia. It is alternatively referred to as White Pine, Northern White Pine, or Soft Pine. In Britain, it is sometimes recognized as Weymouth Pine. Moreover, among the Haudenosaunee Native Americans, this tree holds cultural significance and is known as the Tree of Great Peace. Prepare a decoction or tincture using white pine bark to incorporate into topical products like soaps, lotions, creams, salves, and facial toners. Enhance dried herbal arrangements and potpourri by including white pine bark for its visual appeal and textural diversity. Integrate white pine bark into tea blends or combine it with other barks or resins to create incense for burning.
