Description: Reishi Mushroom Powder is produced from the fruiting body of Ganoderma lucidum, a woody polypore mushroom belonging to the Ganodermataceae family. This mushroom grows naturally on decaying hardwood trees in temperate and subtropical regions, including parts of Asia, Europe, and North America. The fruiting body develops as a shelf-like structure with a smooth, lacquered surface and a firm, fibrous interior, typically appearing during warm and humid growing seasons.
The fully grown mushroom is characterised by its kidney-shaped or fan-shaped cap, displaying shades of reddish-brown, deep orange, and dark maroon with a glossy finish. Harvesting is carried out once the fruiting body has fully matured and reached optimal size and thickness.
