Production: Elecampane is a perennial plant that grows up to 6 feet tall. Its roots are harvested in the fall of the second year of growth, and are washed, dried, and cut into small pieces or powdered for use.
Description: Elecampane root has a woody texture and a strong, slightly bitter taste. It has a distinct aroma.
Uses: Elecampane root can be brewed into tea.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, dark place in an airtight container. Refrigeration not required.
