Description: Calendula is a fast-growing annual flowering plant native to southern Europe and widely cultivated in temperate regions around the world. The plant grows 30–60 cm tall with soft, slightly hairy green leaves and produces large daisy-like flowers in shades of yellow to deep orange throughout the growing season. Flowers are harvested when fully open to preserve their bright colour, layered petal structure, and natural floral form.

The blossoms have a soft, slightly sticky surface and a mild floral aroma, with broad petals arranged around a raised central disc. Once dried, the flowers retain their vivid colour and recognizable shape, making them suitable for whole-flower presentation in botanical blends and decorative preparations where visual appeal and botanical identity are important.

After harvesting, the flowers are gently cleaned to remove excess stems and debris. They are then dried under controlled low-temperature conditions to maintain their natural colour and structure. Once fully dried, the whole blossoms are sorted to remove broken pieces, resulting in a clean, free-flowing floral ingredient suitable for blending and storage.

Uses: Marigold Flower Whole is used in tea-style infusions, herbal and botanical blends, culinary recipes, natural colouring projects, craft work, cosmetic formulations, decorative displays, potpourri-style products, and educational herb collections. The intact flowers add visual interest and natural colour to mixtures, infused preparations, and creative applications where whole botanical forms are desired.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry, dark place in an airtight container. Refrigeration not required.
