Description: Plantain Leaves C/S are prepared from the mature leaves of Plantago major, a low-growing perennial herb in the Plantaginaceae family. This plant is native to Europe and Asia and is now widely naturalised across temperate regions worldwide. It grows in a low, ground-hugging rosette, producing broad, oval-shaped leaves with smooth edges and prominent parallel veins that extend from the base to the tip.
