Description: Origanum vulgare, commonly referred to as oregano, is a robust, rhizomatous perennial characterized by bushy growth and woody branches. It typically reaches heights of 1-3 feet and spreads up to 2 feet in width. The square stems are adorned with aromatic, glandular-spotted, rounded to ovate leaves, measuring around 1 1/2 inches in length. While these leaves are generally smooth-edged, they may occasionally exhibit slightly toothed margins.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, dark place in an airtight container. Refrigeration not required.
