Description: Milk Thistle is an annual or biennial herb native to the Mediterranean region, typically growing 60–150 cm tall with thick, spiny stems and large lobed leaves marked with white marbling. The plant produces large purple thistle flowers during summer, followed by oval seeds that develop within the dried flower heads. The seeds are harvested when fully mature to retain their natural colour, firmness, and botanical integrity.

The seeds are small, smooth, and oval with light to medium brown colouring and a slightly glossy surface. Once dried, they retain their natural shape and consistent appearance, making them suitable for whole-seed use in blends and preparations where visible botanical form is preferred. The seeds maintain their natural texture and clean finish after drying.

After harvesting, the seeds are separated from the flower heads and cleaned to remove chaff and debris. They are dried under controlled low-temperature conditions to preserve colour and texture. Once fully dried, the seeds are sorted to remove broken fragments and fines, resulting in a clean, free-flowing whole seed ingredient suitable for storage and blending.

Uses: Milk Thistle Seed Whole is used in tea-style infusions, herbal and botanical blends, culinary preparations, craft projects, cosmetic formulations, decorative displays, and educational herb collections. The intact seeds add texture and visual interest to mixtures, infused preparations, and creative applications where whole botanical forms and natural appearance are desired.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry, dark place in an airtight container. Refrigeration not required.
