Description: Malva, commonly known as Mallow, is a perennial herb native to Europe and western Asia, typically growing 30–100 cm tall with branching stems and rounded, green leaves. The plant produces vibrant blue to violet flowers during summer. The flowers are harvested at full bloom to preserve their natural colour, shape, and botanical appearance.
Fresh flowers have delicate petals with smooth surfaces and visible veining. After drying, the flowers retain their deep blue-violet colour and natural form, maintaining their identifiable petal structure. The dried flowers are suitable for blending, decoration, and other botanical applications.
After harvesting, the flowers are carefully cleaned to remove stems, debris, and extraneous material. They are dried using controlled low-temperature methods to preserve colour and texture. Once dried, the flowers are gently cut or left whole and sifted to remove fines, resulting in clean, free-flowing floral pieces.
Uses: Malva Flower Blue is used in tea-style infusions, herbal and botanical blends, culinary preparations, natural colouring projects, craft work, cosmetic formulations, decorative floral displays, and educational herb collections. Its vibrant colour and delicate texture make it suitable for infusions, floral mixtures, potpourri-style products, and creative applications where visual appeal and botanical authenticity are desired.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, dark place in an airtight container. Refrigeration not required.
