Description: Magnolia is a large, deciduous or evergreen tree native to East Asia, typically growing 10–20 metres tall with broad leaves and large, fragrant flowers. The bark is harvested from mature trees once it reaches full thickness and maturity, preserving its natural colour, texture, and structural integrity.
The harvested bark is firm and fibrous with a slightly rough surface. After drying, it retains its natural brown hue and characteristic texture. Cutting and sifting the dried bark produces uniform pieces with visible grain and fibrous structure, making it suitable for blending, storage, and botanical applications.
After harvesting, the bark is cleaned to remove extraneous material and debris. It is then dried using controlled low-temperature methods to preserve colour, texture, and natural characteristics.
