Description: Lion’s Mane is a large, perennial fungus native to North America, Europe, and Asia. It typically grows on hardwood trees in dense, cascading clusters and produces white, shaggy, tooth-like spines rather than conventional caps or stems. The mature fruit bodies are harvested when fully developed to retain their natural shape, colour, and structural integrity.
The whole mushrooms have a distinctive, spiny appearance with a firm yet delicate texture. After drying, the fruit bodies maintain their white to off-white colour and shaggy surface, making them easily identifiable and suitable for botanical, culinary, and decorative uses.
After harvesting, the mushrooms are cleaned to remove debris, wood fragments, and extraneous material. They are then dried under controlled low-temperature conditions to preserve colour, texture, and natural form. The dried mushrooms are sorted to remove damaged pieces, resulting in clean, whole fruit bodies suitable for storage, blending, or creative applications.
Uses: Lion’s Mane Mushroom Whole is used in culinary recipes, tea-style infusions, herbal and botanical blends, craft projects, cosmetic formulations, decorative displays, and educational herb collections. Its intact form and unique appearance make it ideal for blending, infusions, and creative applications where botanical authenticity and visual character are desired.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, dark place in an airtight container. Refrigeration not required.
