Description: Lemon is a small evergreen tree native to South Asia and widely cultivated in subtropical and tropical regions. The tree grows 3–6 metres tall with glossy green leaves and produces fragrant white flowers. The fruit develops over several months, with the outer peel containing oil-rich glands. The peels are harvested when the lemons are fully ripe to retain natural colour, texture, and botanical character.
The peels are bright yellow, slightly firm, and aromatic. Once harvested and dried, they retain their distinctive colour, natural surface texture, and citrus fragrance. The dried peels are suitable for cutting and sifting into uniform pieces, producing identifiable botanical fragments ideal for blending and storage.
After harvesting, the peels are cleaned to remove debris and extraneous material, then dried using controlled low-temperature methods to preserve colour, texture, and aroma. Once fully dried, the material is cut and sifted to remove fines and broken fragments, resulting in a clean, free-flowing ingredient suitable for multiple applications.
Uses: Lemon Peel C/S is used in tea-style infusions, herbal and botanical blends, culinary recipes, seasoning mixes, craft projects, cosmetic formulations, decorative displays, and educational herb collections. Its bright colour, aromatic profile, and uniform pieces make it ideal for blending into dry mixes, infusions, and creative applications.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, dark place in an airtight container. Refrigeration not required.
