Description: Panax ginseng is a perennial herbaceous plant native to the cool forest regions of East Asia, growing about 30–60 cm tall with a single upright stem and a whorl of palmately compound leaves. The plant develops small greenish-white flowers in summer, followed by bright red berries, while its underground root slowly enlarges over several years into a thick, branched structure with a pale interior and firm texture. The root’s natural density and fibrous composition make it well suited for drying and milling into a fine botanical powder.
Once dried, the ginseng roots are solid, woody, and light beige in colour, with a subtle natural aroma. When ground, the powder has a fine, smooth texture that blends easily into dry formulations and liquid preparations. This powdered form allows for uniform dispersion and consistent appearance in recipes, blends, and crafted products where even distribution is important.
To produce the powder, mature roots are harvested, washed to remove soil, sliced, and gently dried under controlled low-temperature conditions to preserve their natural characteristics. The dried slices are then finely milled and sifted to achieve a consistent particle size, resulting in a clean, free-flowing botanical powder suitable for a wide range of applications.
Uses: Panax Ginseng Root Powder is used in herbal infusions, beverage mixes, soups, broths, spice and herb blends, and culinary experimentation where a smooth, uniform botanical ingredient is required. It is also used in crafting projects, natural cosmetic formulations, dry blend preparation, and educational or display collections that benefit from a finely milled plant material with consistent colour, texture, and blending performance.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, dark place in an airtight container. Refrigeration not required.
