Description: Gentian Root is a perennial herb with long, lance-shaped leaves and bright yellow flowers. It grows up to two meters tall and has a strong, bitter taste. The root is usually harvested in the autumn of the plant's second year and is dried for medicinal use. Gentian Root is light brown in color and has a woody texture.
Uses: Gentian Root can be taken as a tea.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, dark place in an airtight container. Refrigeration not required.
