Description: Galangal Root is a member of the ginger family and is native to Southeast Asia. It has long, slender rhizomes with a reddish-brown skin and a pale, yellowish-white interior. Galangal Root has a sharp, spicy, and slightly sweet flavor, and is often used as a seasoning in Thai, Indonesian, and Malaysian cuisine.
Uses: Galangal Root can be taken as a tea, or used in cooking as a spice.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, dark place in an airtight container. Refrigeration not required.
