Description: Fumitory is a delicate annual herb that grows upright to about 20 to 50 centimetres in height and is commonly found across Europe, western Asia, and parts of North Africa. The plant produces slender branching stems with soft, finely divided bluish-green leaves and small clusters of tubular pink to purple flowers that appear from spring through late summer.
After the flowering stage, the upper aerial parts of the plant are harvested, then carefully cleaned and dried to preserve the natural colour and structure. Once fully dried, the herb is cut and sifted into uniform pieces, creating a light, leafy blend that reflects the fine texture of the original plant.
The cut and sifted form provides consistent particle size and an even distribution of stems, leaves, and flower fragments. This preparation supports accurate measuring, easy blending, and uniform appearance across a wide range of botanical applications.
Uses: Fumitory Herb C/S is used in tea-style infusions, botanical blending projects, herb craft formulations, educational plant collections, dried herb displays, and natural product recipes where finely cut aerial plant material is required for consistent texture and appearance.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, dark place in an airtight container.
