Description: Frankincense Tears Powder is produced from the solidified resin collected from several Boswellia tree species that grow in dry, rocky regions of the Arabian Peninsula, northeastern Africa, and parts of India. These slow-growing trees reach heights of approximately 2 to 8 metres and feature pale, peeling bark with small clusters of narrow leaves adapted to arid conditions. The resin exudes naturally from shallow cuts in the bark and hardens on the surface into resin tears.
The resin is gathered after fully drying on the tree, then sorted to remove bark fragments and other field material. The cleaned tears are finely milled into a smooth, light-to-amber coloured powder that retains the natural appearance and character of the original resin.
The finished powder has a fine, free-flowing texture that blends easily into dry mixes and crafted formulations. Its natural resin structure provides good stability and consistency, making it suitable for detailed work where a uniform botanical powder is required.
Uses: Frankincense Tears Powder is used in incense blends, resin-based craft projects, candle and soap making, botanical art, aromatic sachets, educational demonstrations, and creative formulations where finely ground tree resin is preferred for its texture and aromatic character.
