Description: This is a diminutive coneflower, reaching a height of 1-2 feet, with sturdy, erect stems covered in fine hairs and adorned with slender, lance-shaped to ovate green leaves that can grow up to 4-6 inches in length. The flowers, spanning about 3 inches in diameter, display delicate pink to pale purple petals that radiate outward, often drooping. At the center of these flowers are distinctive orange-brown conical seed heads.
