Description: Cleavers Herb C/S is produced from the aerial parts of Galium aparine, an annual plant native to Europe and Western Asia and now widely naturalized in temperate regions around the world. The plant grows with long, slender stems and narrow leaves arranged in whorls, forming a spreading habit that readily clings to surrounding vegetation. The aerial portions are harvested during the active growth stage to capture well-developed stems and leaves with consistent botanical character.
After harvesting, the plant material is cleaned to remove roots, excess stem bases, and field debris. The aerial parts are then dried using controlled air-drying or low-temperature methods to reduce moisture while maintaining the natural green to olive colour and fine leafy texture. Once dried, the material is cut and sifted to produce a uniform blend of leaf and stem pieces.
