Part Used: Dried aerial parts of Chelidonium majus, cut and sifted
Description: Celandine Herb C/S is produced from the dried aerial parts of Chelidonium majus, a perennial herb native to Europe and western Asia. The plant typically grows 30–100 cm tall, forming erect stems with pinnately lobed leaves and clusters of small yellow flowers. The harvested herb displays natural green to olive-green tones with a slightly fibrous, leafy texture that remains evident after drying.
Chelidonium majus develops slender, branching stems and broad foliage, creating a delicate plant structure. In cut and sifted form, the herb contains manageable leaf and stem fragments that preserve the overall shape and texture of the plant, making it suitable for visual, craft, and educational applications where recognizable botanical material is important.
Aerial parts are harvested during the active growing season and cleaned to remove field debris. The material is dried using controlled air drying or warm air methods to reduce moisture while maintaining colour and structural integrity. Once dried, the herb is mechanically cut and sifted to produce a uniform grade with consistent texture.
Uses: Celandine Herb C/S is used in botanical craft projects, decorative jar displays, layered potpourri-style mixtures, resin art, and educational herb kits. Its fine stems, leaf fragments, and natural green tones make it suitable for creative projects, visual displays, and botanical preparations requiring intact plant pieces with natural appearance.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, dark place in an airtight container. Refrigeration not required.
