Production: Cardamom plants normally start bearing two years after planting. Picking is carried out at an interval of 15-25 days. Ripe capsules are harvested in order to get maximum green colour during curing.
Description:Green Cardamom (Elettaria) is a member of the ginger family known for its eucalyptus-like floral, citrus flavor and aroma.
Uses: may use cardamom seeds and pods in curries, desserts, and meat dishes, as well as in beverages, such as coffee and chai tea.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, dark place in an airtight container. Refrigeration not required.
