Description: Buchu is obtained by harvesting dried leaves from three Barosma species, with each species named after the distinctive shape of its aromatic leaves. These Buchu plants are indigenous to South Africa and typically manifest as shrubs adorned with sturdy, oil-glandular-dotted leaves on their undersides.
