Description: Boldo Leaves C/S are produced from the dried leaves of Peumus boldus, an evergreen tree native to central Chile. The plant typically grows 6–10 meters tall and features aromatic, leathery, lance-shaped leaves with a slightly wrinkled surface. Leaves are harvested when mature, thoroughly cleaned to remove natural debris, and dried to preserve their green-brown tones and distinctive botanical aroma. Once dried, the leaves are cut into uniform pieces and sifted to create a consistent botanical material suitable for culinary, decorative, and creative applications.
Peumus boldus develops dense foliage with alternate, aromatic leaves. When dried and processed into a cut-and-sifted form, the leaves maintain their natural structure, color variation, and characteristic scent. The manageable leaf fragments blend easily into visual displays, mixtures, and craft projects while retaining the appearance of the original plant.
The harvested leaves are washed, dried using controlled warm-air or air-drying methods, and mechanically cut and sifted for uniformity. The final material reflects the natural texture, structure, and color of the foliage, providing a visually appealing botanical ingredient.
Uses: Boldo Leaves C/S are used in culinary-style herb blends, tea-style infusions, seasoning mixes, and dried leaf decorations. They are also suitable for botanical craft projects, potpourri-style arrangements, resin art, educational herb kits, and decorative jar displays. The aromatic foliage and natural texture make them ideal for creative applications, visual displays, and projects requiring intact dried plant material.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, dark place in an airtight container. Refrigeration not required.
