Botanical Name: Betula Alba

Country Of Origin: Poland

Common Name: Birch Leaves

English Name: Silver Birch Leaves

Also Known As: Birch Leaf Cut & Sifted, Silver Birch Leaf C/S, Betula Leaf C/S

Part Used: Dried leaves of Betula species, cut and sifted

Description: Birch Leaves C/S is produced from the dried leaves of Betula species, deciduous trees native to temperate regions of the Northern Hemisphere. The leaves are harvested when fully mature, carefully cleaned to remove natural debris, and dried to preserve their natural green colour. Once dried, the leaves are cut into uniform pieces and sifted to create a consistent botanical material suitable for visual, craft, and formulation uses.

Betula trees produce small, serrated, lance-shaped leaves along slender stems. When cut and sifted, the leaves retain their fibrous texture, natural colour, and visible structure. The cut-and-sifted form provides manageable pieces that blend easily into botanical mixtures, decorative displays, and educational projects.

Fresh leaves are washed, dried using controlled warm-air or low-temperature methods to reduce moisture, and mechanically cut and sifted to remove dust. No additives, fillers, or processing agents are used, resulting in a pure plant-based ingredient composed solely of dried and cut leaves.

Uses: Birch Leaves C/S is used in botanical craft projects, decorative jar displays, resin art, potpourri-style preparations, and educational herb kits. Its fibrous texture, natural green tones, and uniform cut make it suitable for creative projects that require intact plant material.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry, dark place in an airtight container. Refrigeration not required.
