Botanical Name: Trillium erectum

Country of Origin: USA

Also Known As: Trillium erectum Root C/S, Red Trillium Root, Dried Trillium Root

Part Used: Dried root of Trillium erectum, cut and sifted

Description: Beth Root C/S is produced from the dried root of Trillium erectum, a woodland plant native to eastern North America. The roots are harvested at maturity, cleaned to remove natural soil residue, and dried until firm and stable. Once fully dried, the material is cut into small pieces and sifted to ensure consistency. The resulting botanical displays natural earthy tones and a dense, fibrous texture characteristic of the root.

Trillium erectum grows in shaded forest environments, forming a thick, fleshy rhizome beneath the soil. When dried, the root develops a hard, woody structure that retains the natural characteristics of the plant. The cut-and-sifted form maintains the appearance of the dried root while making it suitable for handling and for incorporation into botanical preparations and creative projects.

Fresh roots are cleaned, trimmed, and dried using controlled low-temperature methods to reduce moisture while preserving structural integrity. After drying, the roots are cut and sifted to remove dust and achieve a uniform grade. The final material contains only dried beth root without additives or fillers.

Uses: Beth Root C/S is used in botanical craft projects, resin art, potpourri-style blends, decorative jar displays, and educational herb kits. Its natural texture and fibrous pieces make it well suited for visual and structural applications in creative and instructional work.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry, dark place in an airtight container. Refrigeration not required.
