Botanical Name: Angelica archangelica officinalis

Country of origin: Poland

Description: Angelica Root C/S is produced from the dried roots of Angelica archangelica, a tall aromatic herb native to the cooler regions of Europe and northern Asia. The plant develops thick, branching roots with a naturally earthy aroma and a pale to light brown colour. When cut and sifted, the material displays small, uniform pieces that retain the fibrous structure and characteristic appearance of the original root.

The production process begins with harvesting mature roots, which are thoroughly cleaned to remove soil and natural field material. After cleaning, the roots are cut into smaller sections and dried under controlled conditions to reduce moisture and stabilize the plant material. Once dried, the pieces are further cut and sifted to achieve consistent size and texture. No milling or additional processing is used beyond cutting and sifting, allowing the root to remain in a natural, coarsely prepared form.

Angelica Root C/S is used in crafting, botanical projects, and cosmetic formulation where visible pieces of plant material are desired. In craft and educational settings, it can be included in herb blends, botanical displays, natural art projects, or potpourri mixtures that rely on the appearance and texture of root fragments. In cosmetic and personal-care formulation, the cut root may be used for decorative infusions, oil preparations, or dry blends that feature recognizable botanical components. Its stable cut form and natural colour make it suitable for applications that benefit from the visual and structural qualities of dried root pieces.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry, dark place in an airtight container. Refrigeration not required.
