Description: Aloe ferox, commonly referred to as bitter aloe, is a flowering plant species within the Asphodelaceae family. This sturdy aloe is native to the southern regions of Africa. It is one of several Aloe species utilized in the production of bitter aloes, a purgative medication. Additionally, it yields a non-bitter gel that finds application in the cosmetics industry. In traditional practices, both the whole leaves and roots of Cape aloe (Aloe ferox) and the gel extracted from the whole leaves of Aloe vera are commonly applied topically to address various skin issues
