Description: Licorice is a perennial plant native to parts of Europe and Asia, typically growing 1–1.5 metres tall with slender stems and compound green leaves. The plant develops long underground roots that are harvested after several years of growth when they reach full size and firmness, allowing the natural colour, density, and structure of the root to be maintained.

The roots are thick, woody, and fibrous with a light brown exterior and pale interior. Once dried, the root material retains its firm texture and natural grain. This dried root is then milled into a fine powder that reflects the botanical characteristics of the plant while providing a convenient form for blending and formulation.

After harvesting, the roots are cleaned to remove soil and extraneous material and dried using controlled low-temperature methods. The dried roots are milled into a fine powder and sieved to remove coarse fragments, resulting in a clean, free-flowing ingredient suitable for blending, storage, and multiple applications.

Uses: Licorice Root Powder is used in tea-style infusions, herbal and botanical blends, culinary recipes, flavouring preparations, craft projects, cosmetic formulations, decorative displays, and educational herb collections. Its fine texture allows it to blend easily into dry mixes and creative preparations where natural botanical character is desired.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry, dark place in an airtight container. Refrigeration not required.
