Description: Borage Herb C/S is made from the dried aerial parts of Borago officinalis, an annual herb native to the Mediterranean region and now cultivated in various temperate climates. The plant produces soft, broad leaves covered with fine hairs and displays distinctive star-shaped blue flowers.

Borago officinalis develops thick, textured leaves and branching stems that maintain visible plant structure even after drying. In cut-and-sifted form, the herb retains its fibrous leaf fragments, stem sections, and natural plant texture. This makes it particularly suitable for decorative botanical applications, where identifiable plant characteristics provide visual appeal and natural variation. The dried material offers a soft, rustic look that is ideal for projects requiring recognizable herb components.

During harvest, the upper leafy portions are collected at peak growth, when foliage is full and vibrant. After gathering, the material is cleaned to remove natural field residues and dried to preserve its characteristic green to grey-green tones. Controlled warm-air or shade-drying methods are used. When fully dried, the herb is mechanically cut into smaller pieces and sifted to achieve consistent sizing.

Uses: Borage Herb C/S is used in botanical craft projects, natural decorative displays, herb jar arrangements, potpourri-style mixtures, resin art, and educational herb kits. Its leafy texture and natural tones add depth to nature-themed artwork, pressed-herb compositions, and mixed-dried botanical blends. Because the plant’s structure remains visible after processing, it is also suitable for creative projects that benefit from identifiable herb fragments and a naturally textured appearance.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place in a sealed container.
