Description: Vetiver is a sizable tufted bunchgrass, capable of attaining heights of up to 1.5 meters (5 feet). This plant features slender, upright, and stiff leaves and stems, while it produces petite brown-purple flowers in elongated clusters. Notably, its aromatic roots extend deep into the soil, often reaching depths of over 3 meters (10 feet). In perfumery, only the dried roots of Vetiver are employed. The green foliage, on the other hand, serves as fodder for cattle.
