Description: Valerian Root Powder is produced from the dried roots and rhizomes of Valeriana officinalis, a hardy perennial flowering plant native to Europe and parts of Asia and widely cultivated in temperate regions. The plant typically grows between 1 and 1.5 metres tall, forming hollow stems with pinnate green leaves and clusters of small white to pale pink flowers that bloom during late spring and summer. Underground, thick fibrous roots develop, which are harvested once fully mature to ensure consistent texture and botanical quality.

After harvesting, the roots are thoroughly cleaned to remove soil and natural debris, then dried using controlled air or low-temperature methods to preserve structure and colour.
