English name: Tulsi Leaves (Holy Basil) Tea Bags

French name: Basilic sacré Leaves Tea

Hindi name: Tulsi ke Patte ki Chai

Also known as: Holy Basil Leaves Tea, Sacred Basil Leaves Tea, Ocimum sanctum Leaves Tea, Ocimum tenuiflorum Leaves Tea

Description: Tulsi Leaves Tea or Holy Basil Tea, a loose-leaf herbal tea, is made from the dried leaves of Ocimum tenuiflorum (syn. Ocimum sanctum), an aromatic plant widely grown in warm and tropical regions. The tea has only one ingredient: Tulsi leaves. The tea has no blends, no added flavour or any other components, just one ingredient clearly recognized for a clean and consistent herbal infusion.

Imagine slender green leaves giving a warm feeling and herbal aroma as hot water is poured onto them. The scent of the leaves is gently spicy with subtle clove-like and peppery notes. The tea develops a smooth and herbaceous flavor with a softly warming character when steeped and feels so balanced and grounded. The experience of having tea is so calm and unhurried that all this quiet moment feels intentional from start to finish.

The tea leaves are harvested, cleaned, and then gently dried to retain their natural fragrance and color. They are then cut in a form which can support the even water flow during steeping, resulting in a tea which is easy to measure, easy to brew and easy to strain. The process of the product is so minimal that it keeps the ingredient simple and recognisable.

Uses: Brewing Tulsi Leaves Tea is easy and simple. Add one teaspoon of leaves in one cup of hot water and steep for 5 to 10 minutes and then strain it. To make iced tea, brew the leaves in hot water, then allow the mix to cool down and pour some ice for a crisp herbal drink. For a lighter profile, steep the leaves in cool water in the refrigerator for several hours to create a smooth cold infusion.

This tea can also be enjoyed with some simple ingredients like ginger slices, lemon peel, or mint adding gentle layers of aroma while keeping the flavor clean and balanced. The naturally aromatic character of the leaves allows it to easily customize without compromising the base tea.

The tea fits perfectly into all the daily rituals, either it’s a calm morning, a rushed afternoon or an unplanned evening. The tea belongs in minimalist kitchens, aesthetic teapots, and meditative moments where the calmness really matters. From the very first scoop of the tea to the final sip, the tea provides an amazing experience that feel so thoughtful, calmed and visually calming, as feeling the first drop of rain falling on face and releasing all worries and stress.
