Description: Senna Leaves Powder is produced from the mature leaves of Senna alexandrina Mill., a shrubby perennial native to Egypt and the Arabian Peninsula. The plant grows 60–120 centimetres tall, with slender stems and paired, lance-shaped green leaflets. Yellow flowers bloom during the growing season, followed by narrow seed pods. Fully matured leaves are carefully harvested for their vibrant green colour, smooth texture, and natural flexibility. These leaves are then cleaned thoroughly to remove dust, stems, and natural debris before drying using controlled air or low-temperature methods to preserve colour, texture, and leaf integrity.
