Description: Rosehips Whole are derived from the fully matured fruit of Rosa canina, a deciduous perennial shrub in the Rosaceae family. Native to Europe, Western Asia, and parts of North Africa, wild rose plants grow in hedgerows, open meadows, and forest edges. The shrub produces thorny, arching stems with compound green leaves and clusters of pale pink to white flowers in late spring. By late summer to early autumn, the flowers develop into oval to round fruits that are harvested when fully ripened for uniform colour and firm texture.

The fruits are oval, plump, and firm, displaying vibrant shades of orange to deep red. Each fruit contains small, naturally embedded seeds within its fleshy interior. Selection is carried out at peak maturity to ensure the fruits have achieved full maturity, structural integrity, and natural colour consistency. Only intact, fully grown rosehips are harvested for drying and processing.

After collecting, the rosehips are gently cleaned to remove stems, field debris, and impurities while keeping the fruit and seeds intact. They are then dried using controlled low-temperature or air-drying methods to stabilise moisture, preserve natural colour, and maintain structural integrity. The finished form of product retain their natural shape, firmness, and slightly fibrous texture, with a glossy exterior and characteristic aromatic notes.

The finished Rosehips form is uniform in size, lightweight, and visually appealing, with intact seeds preserved inside the fruit. The form of product ensures ease of handling and storage, while maintaining the botanical identity of Rosa canina. The natural colour, texture, and structural integrity make them suitable for wide range of applications.

Uses: Rosehips Whole are used in tea-style infusions, herbal blends, and beverage mixes where intact fruit contributes colour, texture, and visual appeal. They are also incorporated into cosmetic and personal care formulations such as bath blends, soaps, scrubs, and infused oils for visual and textural effect. Additionally, whole rosehips are used in culinary applications, craft projects, decorative arrangements, educational botanical collections, and manufacturing processes that require identifiable, uniform dried fruit with seeds intact.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry, dark place in an airtight container. Refrigeration not required.
