Description:  Rosehips Powder is produced from the mature fruit of Rosa canina, a deciduous perennial shrub in the Rosaceae family. Native to Europe, Western Asia, and parts of North Africa, wild rose plants grow in hedgerows, forest edges, and open fields. The shrub produces arching, thorny stems with compound green leaves and fragrant pale pink to white flowers that bloom in late spring, followed by the formation of oval to round fruits known as rosehips, which ripen in late summer to autumn.

The rosehips are collected once fully matured, exhibiting a bright orange to red colour and firm, plump texture. Collection ensures that only intact, fully ripe fruits are harvested to maintain consistency in size, colour, and structure prior to processing. The fruits are gently cleaned to remove stems, seeds, and debris while retaining the outer skin and natural fruit integrity.
