Description: Oatstraw is the aerial portion of the oat plant, a hardy annual grass native to Europe and widely cultivated in temperate regions worldwide. The plant typically grows 0.5–1.5 metres tall, with slender, hollow stems, lance-shaped green leaves, and small flowering spikes that produce oat grains. The stems and leaves are harvested during the flowering stage when they are fully developed, capturing their natural colour, texture, and structural integrity for processing.
