Description: Moringa is a fast-growing, deciduous tree native to the sub-Himalayan regions of northern India, now widely cultivated across tropical and subtropical regions of Asia, Africa, the Caribbean, and parts of Central and South America. The tree typically reaches 5–12 metres in height, with a slender, pale grey trunk and widely spreading branches forming an open canopy. Its leaves are compound, arranged in tripinnate clusters with 20–40 pairs of small oval leaflets, bright green in colour, smooth in texture, and tender to touch. The tree produces small, cream to white-colored, lightly fragrant flowers throughout the warm months, followed by long, ribbed seed pods known as drumsticks. Leaves are harvested multiple times during the growing season when foliage is fully developed, preserving natural colour, size, and botanical character.

The fresh leaves are thin, flexible, and bright green with a mild leafy aroma. Once dried, the leaflets retain their natural shape, veining, and colour, forming slightly curled pieces with visible texture. Cut and sifted, the leaves show uniform size, minimal stem content, and a clean appearance suitable for blending, packaging, or display. The dried material maintains a lightweight, slightly brittle texture while preserving identifiable leaf fragments for visual and functional consistency.

Moringa is cultivated widely in tropical and subtropical regions due to its rapid growth and adaptability to a variety of soil types. It thrives in well-drained, sandy, or loamy soils and tolerates occasional drought conditions. The tree has a short to medium lifespan but produces new foliage continuously under suitable conditions. Leaves harvested at peak growth maintain their shape, veining, and colour after drying, while retaining a lightweight, slightly brittle texture ideal for cut and sifted preparations.

After harvesting, the leaves are separated from coarser stems and thoroughly cleaned to remove dust and extraneous material. They are dried under controlled low-temperature conditions to preserve colour, texture, and natural botanical characteristics. Once fully dried, the leaves are cut and sifted to remove fines and broken fragments, producing a clean, free-flowing ingredient.

Uses: Moringa Leaves C/S are used in tea-style infusions, herbal and botanical blends, culinary preparations such as soups, stews, broths, seasoning mixes, and baked goods, craft projects, cosmetic formulations, decorative displays, and educational herb collections. Their uniform cut leaf pieces allow even mixing while maintaining visible leaf structure, natural colour, and consistent botanical texture. The leaves are suitable for dry blends, infused preparations, and creative applications where identifiable leaf fragments, natural appearance, and botanical authenticity are desired.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry, dark place in an airtight container. Refrigeration not required.
