Description: Milk Thistle is an annual or biennial herb native to the Mediterranean region, typically growing 60–150 cm tall with thick, spiny stems and large lobed leaves marked with white marbling. The plant produces large purple thistle flowers during summer, followed by round seeds that develop in clusters within the flower heads. The seeds are harvested when fully mature to preserve their natural colour, texture, and botanical integrity.

The seeds are small, oval, and light to medium brown in colour with a slightly glossy surface and firm texture. After drying, the seeds retain their natural shape and appearance, making them suitable for milling into a uniform powder. The resulting seed powder maintains a fine texture and consistent colour, offering a convenient form for blending, storage, and botanical applications.

After harvesting, the seeds are cleaned to remove debris, dust, and broken fragments. They are then dried under controlled conditions to preserve colour, texture, and natural characteristics. Once fully dried, the seeds are milled and sieved to produce a clean, free-flowing powder suitable for multiple uses.

Uses: Milk Thistle Seed Powder is used in tea-style infusions, herbal and botanical blends, culinary preparations, craft projects, cosmetic formulations, decorative displays, and educational herb collections. Its fine texture allows it to blend evenly into dry mixes, infused preparations, and creative applications where natural seed appearance, texture, and botanical authenticity are desired.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry, dark place in an airtight container. Refrigeration not required.
