Description: Linden is a large deciduous tree native to Europe, commonly growing 20–40 metres tall with a wide canopy and heart-shaped green leaves. The tree produces small, pale yellow flowers in drooping clusters during early summer, and the leaves and flowers are harvested at full bloom to preserve their natural colour, shape, and botanical appearance.
The fresh leaves are thin with visible veins, while the flowers are delicate and star-shaped with light green bracts. After drying, the plant material becomes lightweight and slightly curled, retaining identifiable leaf and flower forms. This combination provides a visually consistent blend with natural texture and colour.
After harvesting, the leaves and flowers are cleaned to remove stems and extraneous material and dried using controlled low-temperature methods. Once dried, the material is cut and sifted into uniform pieces and screened to remove dust and fines, resulting in a clean, free-flowing botanical ingredient suitable for blending and storage.
Uses: Linden Leaves & Flower C/S is used in tea-style infusions, herbal and botanical blends, culinary preparations, craft projects, cosmetic formulations, decorative displays, and educational herb collections. The uniform cut pieces allow easy blending and provide natural botanical character for a wide range of creative and formulation applications.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, dark place in an airtight container. Refrigeration not required.
