Description: Lady’s Mantle is a perennial herb native to Europe and parts of Asia, commonly growing 20–50 cm tall with slender stems and soft, fan-shaped green leaves. The plant produces small, star-shaped greenish-yellow flowers during the summer, and the aerial parts are harvested at peak growth to preserve their natural colour, texture, and leaf shape.
The leaves are rounded with scalloped edges and a soft surface, forming delicate rosettes along the stems. Once dried, the leaves and tender stems retain their green to slightly brownish colour and their distinctive shape and structure. This makes them suitable for cutting and sifting into uniform pieces, providing a visually appealing and identifiable botanical ingredient.
After harvesting, the aerial parts are cleaned to remove soil, debris, and broken fragments. They are then dried using controlled low-temperature methods to maintain colour and texture. Once fully dried, the plant material is cut and sifted to remove fines, resulting in a clean, free-flowing herb suitable for blending, storage, and various applications.
Uses: Lady’s Mantle Herb C/S is used in tea-style infusions, herbal and botanical blends, craft projects, cosmetic formulations, decorative displays, and educational herb collections. Its delicate leaves and stems make it ideal for blending into botanical mixtures and creative applications where the natural form and texture of the plant are desired.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, dark place in an airtight container. Refrigeration not required.
