Description: Harde, commonly known as Haritaki, is a deciduous tree native to South and Southeast Asia, growing 10–20 metres tall with spreading branches, rough grey bark, and ovate to elliptic green leaves. The tree produces small, yellowish-green flowers during the dry season, followed by the formation of hard, oval fruit. The leaves are harvested at full maturity when their colour, structure, and aroma are optimal.
