Common Name: Gynostemma Leaves C/S

English Name: Gynostemma Leaves Cut & Sifted

French Name: Feuilles de Gynostemma Coupées et Tamisées

Description: Gynostemma is a fast-growing perennial climbing vine native to mountainous regions of China and Southeast Asia. It spreads along the ground or over supports with thin, wiry stems and palmate leaves made up of five serrated leaflets, giving the plant a delicate, star-like appearance. The plant produces small greenish-white flowers in summer, and the leaves are harvested during the active growing season when they are fully developed and vibrant in colour.

After harvesting, the leaves are cleaned to remove stems and debris, then gently dried under controlled low-temperature conditions. Once dried, the leaves retain their fine structure and light green to olive tone and are cut and sifted into uniform pieces, preserving the recognizable leaf segments and soft leafy texture.

The cut leaves are further sorted to remove excess dust and very fine particles, ensuring a consistent, clean botanical ingredient with uniform size and quality suitable for blending and formulation work.

Uses: Gynostemma Leaves C/S are used in tea-style blends, herbal and botanical mixtures, culinary flavouring projects, cosmetic formulations, soaps, scrubs, incense blends, craft projects, and educational herb collections. Their light leafy texture and distinct leaf shape make them suitable for mixed herbal preparations, decorative jar displays, formulation development, and applications where visible, finely cut leaf material is preferred.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry, dark place in an airtight container. Refrigeration not required.
