Description: The flowering dogwood tree usually reaches a height of 5 to 15 meters. The mature tree's bark is characterized by small square blocks, resembling an "alligator" pattern on the stem. The leaves are arranged opposite each other, displaying a simple structure, and are of a medium-green hue. They measure 7.6 to 15 cm in length and are less than 7 cm wide. The veins of the leaves follow a curved, elliptic pattern.
