Part Used: Dried bark of Erythroxylum catuaba, finely milled
Description: Catuaba Bark Powder is produced from the dried bark of Erythroxylum catuaba, a small tree native to tropical regions of Brazil. The tree grows in warm forested environments and develops a fibrous inner bark with natural tan to reddish brown colouring. When dried and milled, the bark forms a fine powder with an even texture and earthy appearance.
In powdered form, the bark is reduced to a smooth, free-flowing material that offers uniform particle size. This format allows the natural characteristics of the bark to be presented in a refined form suitable for applications that require consistent blending and even distribution.
Mature bark is harvested from established trees and cleaned to remove surface residue. The material is dried under controlled conditions to reduce moisture while maintaining its natural colour and structure. Once fully dried, the bark is mechanically milled into a fine powder and sifted to remove oversized particles, ensuring consistency across batches.
Uses: Catuaba Bark Powder is used in botanical craft formulations, incense-style blends, resin art, natural colouring and texture applications, and educational herb kits. Its fine texture and natural earthy tones make it suitable for creative projects and dry mixtures where a powdered botanical ingredient is preferred.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, dark place in an airtight container. Refrigeration not required.
