Part Used: Dried leaves of Arctium lappa, cut and sifted

Description: Burdock Leaves C/S is produced from the dried leaves of Arctium lappa, a biennial plant native to temperate regions of Europe and Asia and widely cultivated elsewhere. The plant forms large, broad leaves that grow on upright stems, typically reaching 1–2 meters in height.

Arctium lappa grows with large basal leaves in the first year and tall flowering stems in the second year, producing broad, veined foliage. When processed into cut-and-sifted form, the leaves retain much of their original texture, structure, and natural colour, making them ideal for visual botanical displays, craft projects, and educational applications.

The harvested leaves are washed to remove soil and field residue, then carefully dried to reduce moisture while preserving structural integrity and natural leaf tones. After drying, the material is mechanically cut and sifted to ensure uniform size and texture, resulting in a clean, stable plant-based product.

Uses: Burdock Leaves C/S are used in botanical craft projects, potpourri-style blends, decorative jar arrangements, resin art, layered herb displays, and educational herb kits. Their broad, textured leaves provide visual appeal and structure for creative applications, making them suitable for projects that require intact plant material with recognizable features.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry, dark place in an airtight container. Refrigeration not required.
