Botanical Name: Clitoria Ternatea
Country Of Origin: Sri Lanka
Description: Named "butterfly pea" due to its classification in the pea family, this plant is intriguingly not a common attraction for butterflies. Instead, its name is derived from the resemblance of its expanded banner to that of a butterfly. This sizable wildflower boasts one to three striking purple flowers, each reaching up to two inches in length. This form is powder form, used in beverages, and other culinary creations.
