Description: Blue Cohosh Root C/S is produced from the dried roots of Caulophyllum thalictroides, a perennial woodland plant native to eastern North America. The plant typically grows 60–100 cm tall, forming large compound leaves and small clusters of yellowish-green flowers in spring. The rhizomes are harvested after the plant has reached maturity, carefully cleaned to remove natural soil and debris, and dried to preserve their dense, fibrous structure and dark brown exterior. Once dried, the roots are cut into uniform pieces and sifted to create a consistent botanical material suitable for decorative and craft applications.
