Botanical Name: Adhatoda Vasica

Country Of Origin: India

Description: Adulsa Leaves Cut and Sifted are obtained from the foliage of Justicia adhatoda, a shrub native to South Asia and commonly found throughout India, Sri Lanka, and surrounding regions. The plant produces thick, oval leaves that develop a matte green colour when fresh and take on a muted green-brown tone once dried. These leaves have a naturally earthy aroma that is characteristic of dried botanical material.

Harvesting begins with selecting mature, fully developed leaves during the plant’s peak growing season. After collection, the leaves are carefully cleaned to remove field debris such as dust or stems. They are then dried under controlled conditions that help retain their structure and natural colour variations. Once fully dried, the leaves are cut into smaller pieces and sifted to achieve an even texture suited for various non-culinary uses. No additives, dyes, or fragrances are introduced at any stage of processing, allowing the material to remain in its natural botanical form.

Adulsa Leaves C/S are used in crafting and cosmetic formulation where dried plant components contribute visual appeal, texture, and a natural botanical presence. They can be incorporated into potpourri blends, sachets, display mixes, and other decorative projects that utilize dried herbs. In cosmetic crafts, the cut leaves may be added to bath blends, botanical sachets, or dry formulation bases requiring plant material for aesthetic or thematic purposes. Their leaf structure and muted tones blend well with other dried herbs, making them suitable for creative, craft-focused applications that rely on natural botanical elements.

Storage: In a cool, dry space, sealed against the elements as much as possible.
