Description: Valerian Root C/S is prepared from the dried roots and rhizomes of Valeriana officinalis, a perennial flowering plant native to Europe and parts of Asia and cultivated in temperate regions worldwide. The plant typically grows between 1 and 1.5 metres tall, producing hollow stems with pinnate green leaves and clusters of small white to pale pink flowers during the blooming season.
