Description: Maca is a perennial plant native to the high Andes of Peru, typically growing 12–20 cm tall with a thick, tuberous root. The plant produces small, yellowish-green flowers on slender stalks during the growing season. The roots are harvested when fully mature to preserve their natural colour, firmness, and botanical character.
The tuberous roots are firm, dense, and range in colour from cream to light brown. Once dried, they retain their natural structure and texture.
