Black salt, commonly known as Himalayan black salt, Indian black salt, or kala namak, is a type of volcanic rock salt crafted in the Himalayan region. It contains naturally occurring sulfur compounds, which vary in concentration and are indigenous to the Himalayan mountains. Alongside these sulfur compounds, black salt comprises sodium chloride, the main chemical component of salt.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, dark place in an airtight container. Refrigeration not required.
